Classification and selection principles of food processing equipment
Food processing equipment, also known as food machinery, is a general term for all mechanical equipment that processes food raw materials into finished or semi-finished products.

Food processing equipment can be divided into the following four categories:
1. General Equipment: quick-freezing equipment, cleaning equipment, drying equipment, sterilization equipment, filling equipment, water treatment equipment, sorting equipment, extraction equipment, heat exchange equipment, and conveying equipment.
2. Specialized Equipment: snack food equipment, vegetable processing equipment, fruit processing equipment, meat processing equipment, baking equipment, aquatic product processing equipment, fruit and vegetable processing equipment, dairy equipment, condiment processing equipment, and beverage processing equipment.
3. Testing Equipment: measuring instruments and metering equipment.
4. Packaging Equipment: packaging machines, sealing machines, packaging equipment, labeling equipment, filling equipment, and wrapping equipment.
Food Processing Equipment Selection Principles
1. Technical Characteristics: Equipment should meet the technical specifications of raw materials and finished products, comply with product process design requirements, and generate noise, vibration, and pollution in accordance with relevant national policies and regulations.
2. Safety: Equipment should have excellent safety features to ensure the safety and hygiene of personnel and processed products.
3. Reliability: Equipment should operate stably and reliably to ensure continuous and normal operation of the entire production line and that actual production capacity meets or slightly exceeds design requirements. To ensure reliable equipment operation, ensure sufficient information is collected about the equipment being purchased.
4. Applicability
The equipment's requirements for site, power supply, heat source, water source, vacuum and compressed air, and climatic conditions must be clearly defined. When integrating the equipment with subsequent process equipment, consider factors such as signal input and output compatibility, spatial connectivity, and production capacity compatibility.
